I was referring to exercising the 30 day return on an EVO (if I were to get it next week) for the Incredible HD if it actually were to arrive in December..
 
They often extend the return dates around the Christmas season to a week or 2 beyond Christmas (even if it is longer than 30 days); sometimes I think the extension has been from Dec 1; other times it sounds like the extension starts on Black Friday (the day you activate the phone may affect the return date, as well).

I think Miaimi is allowing his chain to get yanked by some BSer and then he passes the info out. I would hope Miami does not fall for it again.
 
I like the look of the Merge it's very Nexus Oneish , the keyboard looks really good as well. I think this phone will sell a lot .
Plus if it's anything like the G2 this phone will fly

why? the merge has a much better keyboard and posted 1300+ on quadrant. just curious. i could care less as i am not getting anything untill the Inc HD. my wife however really wants the merge so i have been following it for a while. i was shocked watching the quadrant score video, it seems like it is going to be a tough little phone.
 
i know other people have stated this. why in the hell would they not have the inc hd ready for christmas this year? i dont get it. who is running the show over there? how can we (the paying customer) get this message to them? i am ready to pay full retail for the device as i just bought the inc when it came out 6-7 months ago. which is funny because i am 100% satisfied with my inc. oh well the longer they wait the less i will be paying for the phone.

i am a moto guy at heart (untill the inc hd of course :)) . my first android device was the droid 1. i have grown tired of the sliding keyboard. it adds bulk and comes open in my pocket. plus i NEVER use the keyboard anyway. then there is always this:

DROID 2 Global shows off benchmarks, system info, ability to make us drool:)
 
yeah but the droid global scored over 1700 STOCK lol. but think if the g2 is only 800 mhz than imagine wht the dinc hd would be like @ 1.2!!

They're all insanely fast , I had my Incredible posting 1650-1803 on Shadow ROM (I think) and 1.15ghz and that thing was flying fast. I can't even imagine these phones that are gonna be out over the next year
 
does liquid create roms for the inc? his latest 1.95 has my droid scoring upwards of 1880 but it kills my battery life. although there are some who claim otherwise on their phone. this is clocked at 1.25

yeah its definitely nice, im seriously considering one for my wife but i had a droid1 too and she hated the keyboard. i know the 2 is a little improved but i still dont think it holds a flame to the merge. not to mention the merge looks much nicer. but the biggest thing for me is motoblur. it sucks ass. everybody ive spoken with and many threads talk about how laggy it is and how choppy blur is. there is no question that if your phone will be "skinned" with something, sense is it. i know i can root etc. but i am not getting into that for my wifes phone.

in that case i would get the merge. the good news is that miami said the merge will be released this year and that some vzw stores have already gotten the dummy phones in!

Wasn't there talk that the Merge would be delayed for 4G too, are we still looking at February for Incredible HD (or is Miami-others still unclear on its arrival)?
 
i dont blame you i am searching ebay in another window right now for a x thus saving my upgrade for later! i do believe the merge will be released this year but not the inc hd.
 
If you are in to the Merge wait it out a few more days......

If you want the HD get the X now. You'll always be able to retun it in 30 days or less

Interesting... Hopefully the HD comes out soon. I'm ready to jump back to VZW from Sprint. Love the Evo, HATE Sprint.
