Help pdf files in emails

I have a Samsung Fascinate. I can't open pdf files in my emails without saving them to the sd card and then opening. I can open excel files though. What gives?

I'm not seeing that behavior, are you using a pop email or gmail?

Also would be a good idea to install Adobe Reader from the market. I'm using gmail and if i click on the preview button it opens it with Adobe, works fine.

When I use the gmail app on phone I can hit the preview button on the PDF file and open it like you say. However this does not work in the mail section of the phone. I have 3 accounts. Gmail, yahoo, and Microsoft exchange. None will open the PDF without saving. I like to go to one place to check my mail. Not 3 apps. I have adobe app installed. Seems like I'm missing a setting somewhere.

Anyone know where to store files on the HTC incredible so that the Adobe app reader can locate them? Was able to open an email atch pdf file, but can't seem to find out how to save it. Tried copying onto phone internal drive at top level but Adobe app couldn't find it.
