Help Changing unlock button?

Hate the iphone style swipe unlock screen now i've upgraded to 2.1, also hate the fact that i have to turn on the screen by pressing the power button. Much preferred the original unlock method by pressing the menu button twice.

Is it possible to change it?

You can also turn on the screen by pressing the middle button on the bottom. (square)

search for NO LOCK in android market, it won't lock your phone on screen time out ..
