Help Pics taken by the camera absolutely will not email!

I've tried numerous times to get this thing,the Droid,to email the pics I took of my wifes cake she wants. Sent it to her Yahoo email. Then tried my Gmail acct. Then her's again,then mine,several times. The sucker absolutely will not send em! What gives? This is a feature I absolutely have to have working!

try going into 'gallery' and finding the photo you want... open it, then select the share option that pops up. there you should see a gmail option to send it to anyone... i just tried it myself.
