Help Smileys/Emoticons

Hi, i just bought new Htc Wildfire, Android 2.2, its a beautifull phone, the only thing i cant find is how to add smiley faces when i'm texting, i mean real smiley face not manually, if i cannot, is there an apps. that i can download?...thanks guys!!

Welcome to Android Forums, ashot.

Smiley faces are in the texting app preferences menu on most versions of Android.

Once you're into the texting area, with a contact selected and ready to text, hit menu > add smiley.
