I found this on XDA and uploaded for us ally users. I have tested this update.zip myself and it does work.

The screenshot I used was from a blog. This doesn't give you a T-mobile tab, but instead a verizon one. Currently not working on 2.1, but we have some people trying things to get this on 2.1.
 
I'm using Velocity 0.3 and I automatically got this Market last night - its coming to everybody in waves I believes.

Do you mind extracting the Vending.apk and uploading it? Someone will make an update.zip for everyone else.

Its located in /system/app/ just copy the apk to the root of your sd card and transfer it to your computer and upload here.

Yeah as long as a rom has MarketUpdater.apk (which would update the market if there was a silent ota push) in it you'd get the silent ota eventually. Just some people are want it now rather than waiting. :p
 
I hate this Market - it runs slower, the search button is so small i miss it often and press the app slider, and it just seems overall sluggish

In the xda post it says you need a custom rom with testing-keys the froyo from what I understand is the only ROM out that uses them, velocity and raptor use release-keys

This very well could be the issue. Afteraffekt claims to have it so if he uploads the apk like we asked him then you all can have it.
 
kind of off topic but in my opinion this 15 min refund deadline is a bad idea... ya there will be less pirating on new apps but with only 15 min to test an app, the honest people who usually pay for them will start looking online for the .apk files so they dont have to worry about the deadline...

You have to think about it from a Game Dev's point of view, people download games, beat them within the 24 hours and then just return them. Its cheating them out of their hard work.
 
I agree with that thought too. But couldn't they have gone a "little" longer? Like half an hour or an hour? 15 minutes does seem awfully short.

Anyone using the new market - did they put in any way to filter it? Like so you can avoid seeing dozens of offerings that don't even apply to what you typed into the search? I do get tired of scrolling through screen after screen of all that dross just to try to find what I really am looking for..

Does your market look like the screenshot above? I think you just have the market with the related tab, its called com.android.vending.somethingorother.

Thats the version BEFORE the one shown in the screenshot above.
 
im guessing i did this wrong... i downloaded the vending.apk and put it on my sd, booted into recovery, then unzipped it... nothing changed on my market and now every couple hours my market gets deleted somehow, but i made a backup on ti so i keep restoring it... is it trying to push the update or what?

got it to stop uninstalling but now when i try to get an app my vending force closes...
