Help Removing landlines from sms send list

When I'm writing a text and choosing who to send it to, all contacts are shown, including land lines. In some cases the landlines are coming up before people's mobile numbers.

I know it's possible to send texts to land lines but, let's face it, it's a rare occurence. Is it at all possible to stop land line numbers coming up when choosing sms recipients?

I really don't think you can do this in the stock messaging application.

There are alternatives such as handcent or Chomp SMS on the market.

Well I installed handcent and it seems to be doing a better job of organising numbers. Not sure if it's EXCLUDING landline numbers, but it certainly doesn't bug me as much. Cheers!

Yeah, this can be super annoying if you're trying to quickly send a text, and aren't paying attention to the recipient's number..
