Milestone (Indonesia) update to 2.2 Froyo ??

I heard the Milestone received update to 2.2 in North America.

I try to run update in my phone (in Indonesia), but it says my device already have latest firmware (still 2.1 Eclair).

Is there any way that I can force my Milestone to download & update to Froyo ??

P.S: sorry for the bad english :-D

@Szadnik: G.O.T already hacked Milestone to 2.2.1 Froyo :-D

But can I use RTEU (Europe version) because Indonesia have the same UMTS frequency like the European UMTS frequency ??

check G.O.T website G.O.T.'s Blog

So, do you know it will work if I use RTEU (European) ROM on Milestone (South-East Asia) ??

notes: same UMTS 900/2100 MHz both European & Asian version of Milestone .

I want to upgrade, but I don't want to brick my phone :-(

If you have confirmed that these are the same bands you can try.

Even if it doesn't work you can still flash back to 2.1.

if G.O.T already hacked Milestone, is it possible for CM6 (or even Gingerbread) to get ported to Milestone too ?

coz, I don't want to buy new phone to get the latest OS.. because my job is android apps developer (I should buy HTC Desire Z / G2 instead of Milestone :-( )

Yes, Milestone 1 is an outdated handset compared to Desire Z. I bought Milestone 2 as an upgrade for my Milestone 1 and am very happy too.

No hance there will be 2.3 for Milestone 1 any time soon.

even if I have HTC Desire HD/Z, I will not sell my milestone,

Milestone design is very awesome (I just sell my X10 mini pro with Red color few weeks a go, it's too eyecandy for men phone, & look like a toy :-(

You should see Milestone 2, it is even better.
