Help Anyone else notice poor battery life after the update?

Interesting that you mentioned it. This is something I have been noticing the last few days since I updated. And I have nothing new installed except there bloatware crap (and I turned off the Blockbuster updating.)

Thinking of rooting for sure if they can come out with a 1 click method.

I learned this a couple days ago if you have a task killer installed on your evo uninstall it will help with your battery life.
 
Its hard to judge the battery life on this phone, its not great from the get go so if it gets a bit worse from an update or whatever I wont have any idea.

4G is another story, the thing just munch's battery away.

Also, try turning off 4G scanning for a short while, see if that improves things.
