Root Odd battery-related issues after update to DJ05/Clean 0.5

Hi all -

I upgraded to DJ05 and the Clean 0.5 ROM about a month ago and have run into a couple of odd charging/battery issues since. Hoping for a little guidance:

Issue 1.) I allowed my battery to completely drain a few weeks back and, for some reason, it wasn't charging on the wall charger when the phone was completely off. When I plugged it into my computer, it took enough of a charge to start up and then I was able to use the wall charger normally. I had originally thought that perhaps the wall charger was bad but given that it works in situations where the phone is NOT completely dead, I don't think that could be the case.

Issue 2.) Earlier this week, my battery level was again very low before I went to bed so I plugged it in for a short time so I could continue my conversations and then plugged it in as normal before calling it a night. From what I could tell, the phone locked up some time during the night (perhaps when it got the battery full notification?) and the phone required a battery pull before it would function normally.

I'm presuming this may be a fault with the ROM itself. Suggestions? Known issue?

hmm..i only used super clean 0.5 for a brief while (and the kernel it contained) but most battery issues are kernel related. try one of geekniks stupidfast kernels and see if that fixes your problems

Thx Nitsuj....I'll try one, but it's so sporadic it's hard to say whether I'll run across it again.

Were you running an undervolt kernel? If that's the problem then the geeknik ones will only make it worse.

I'd try a more recent one in any case.
