Root Flashing back to stock "from sprint"

hello all, i have an epic that i rooted and had flashed to metro pcs, my question is if i was load say the leaked 2.2 from sprint will that flash it back to sprint? or are the network setting someplace else? thanks again!! sorry if this is a stupid question i read for hours with no luck.
 
I would assume that it would change back to Sprints network. In fact, I'm nearly positive it would.
 
nope it didnt but after using QPST and loading a .bin from my other epic still on sprint i got it back to sprint....just now the web isn't working. everything else is...any ideas?

But if you were to load the leaked 2.2 say, then it wouldn't be sprint stock. You'd have to flash the DI18 to take it back to stock.

hey joshy!(or anyone else out there who can lend a helping hand :D) i'm also trying to flash back my epic from metropcs to sprint. did you ever get the web to work? I'm stick with voice and sms, but not mms and web. thanks for the help!
 
Why did you want to come back to Sprint? I am considering flashing to MetroPCS but, I would like some info on how to go about it.

I got a SERO plan, so sprint was a better option. I took my phone to a local guy to get it flashed to metroPCS. Couldnt do it myself with the info from the internet...
