Help Need help flashing and installing on Viewsonic gTab!!

Hi all, need some help on this. I've downloaded and installed the z4 and Clockwork. I've gotten to step #11 (second set of instructions) but I'm not getting past that. Each time I reboot, it takes me to the home screen of old ROM. I moved the update and recovery folder to the download folder on the tab.
I am on a Mac and am pretty literate to computers so I'm a bit frustrated!
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated!
 
So which ROM did you choose? Vegan, Tnt Lite, CM...? It doesn't look like you chose a ROM and the second set of instructions shows you how to load a ROM.

Based on your post, it doesn't seem you flashed clockwork recovery correctly. You downloaded Clockwork recovery..you need to drop the update zip and recovery folder to the root of your SDcard2 (not internal memory).

After that, that's when you turn off your device...press the power and volume +. Clockwork should be installed after that.
 
You are absolutely right, I intended on using TnT lite (read good things) and I obviously missed that step. I will continue with that and keep you posted. While I have you, what's the best size SD you can suggest for the gTab?

I'm not sure, I'm currently not using an external sd
