Help Flash video very choppy

Hi,

I have had nothing but trouble with flash since day one of the release to the Dinc. My most recent woes are the constant choppiness of the video. I use flash primary to watch TV and movies stream through the program Orb. The problem occurs about 2-3 minutes into playback. Initially the stream is perfect but soon the picture becomes unwatchable yet the audio remains stable. I can stream to my computer in flash without an issue. The only way I was able to get flash run smoothly was getting an overclocked kernel but rooting and the kernel caused all whole another headache with getting the program to work properly. I've tried uninstalling the updates and getting the most recent build but none of them work. Also a very strange thing happens when I try to go fullscreen. If I try to go full screen while in landscape mode the audio will continue fine but the video will be stuck on the image of when I pressed full screen, however if I hold my finger on the screen it will play normally until I remove my finger. But if I press full screen while in portrait mode it will play fine for those 2-3 mins.

Please help!
other info:
Android ver: 2.2
Kernel:2.6.32.17
Baseband:2.15.00.07.28
Software:3.26.605.1
flash:10.1.105.7

Depends on the quality of the video. The Incredible uses the Adreno 200, which is not on the list of supported devices for hardware acceleration within Flash 10.1 (however, the Adreno 205 on the 2nd Gen Snapdragon is supported). This means choppier video and lower response for us, unfortunately.

Currently, the supported mobile chipsets include;

Adreno 205
Power VR SGX 530, 535, and 540
Tegra 2

I think there are likely others. Broadcom's BCM 2727 should get it too.

Do all of the Incredibles use this Adreno 200? I recently bought a new Incredible maybe they updated on that its the 3rd model of it. I have the same problem as the OP but my flash videos play fine just not on full screen.

All Incredibles use the same CPU/GPU. Flash is fine on my device as well unless it's HQ/HD content, or requires a lot of interaction.

The flash i'm trying to watch is just a standard stream of anolog tv or of dvrms. It's much less cpu intensive as compared to hulu.com for example. I've tried it on my friends nexus one and it stream fine. Which led me to believe it was the incredible or my phone specifically as I got mine very near the release of the incredible.
