Root Apps won't install anymore.? - Why.?

Hi there ...

Running a 2.3b LeeDroid ROM
Baseband : 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27
Kernel : 2.6.32.15-leedroid_2.3 - snq@drone #1

Been running this ROM for the past 2 weeks now with no probs.
I do a Nandroid B4 each ROM update, all good ... Reboots perfectly.!

But just lately the last couple of days, I noticed msg's like : install " unsuccessful " in the top bar.??
Of course this is after I update an App, or when I download a new App etc, & it's driving me nuts.??

Can someone tell what I've done wrong, OR, why is this doing this type of behaviour happening please.?

I always keep an eye on the MB's I have left on my SD, but I delete them all bar 2 copies.!

I have just on 1 GB left on the SD Card, + I have a small 'app' to let me know.!

+ when I made the EXT4 partition, I chose the largest size possible.!

Any other reason's why I can't install any apps.?

The problem is not on the FAT SD, the issue is space left on your ext4. I though ext3 was recommended, may be wrong?

Hmmm.? - OK.? - So how do I check how much space I have left on the EXT4.?

But for the record, I have 1 GB left on the SD, + 30 MB left on the phone memory.!

try deleting the .android_secure folder.
I had the same situation as you and this worked really well.

Righty-O ... I gave this a go ... Used an already installed app called : ASTRO

No files were in there, tried to delete it, & I got an " Error Deleting Files " message.?

to check how much space is on your partition, use an app in the market called quick system info.
try deleting the .android_secure folder from your computer.

Nahh, that's fine, I'm mistaken & I was wrong, sorry about that.! :o
But here are my stats as per " Easus Partition Manager " ...
So this confirms I actually have an EXT3 ... , Not an EXT4

Hi there Kuobob ...
I tried B4 in the past & it didn't work, but that was looking thru the phone thru Astro.!
But when I connected thru the PC, I noticed the .android_secure folder had 113 MB in there.?
I saw familiar names of programs I use & thought Wtf.? - Would that of deleted ALL my Apps.?
