Did you mean you DON'T EXPECT it to work, or you DO EXPECT it to work? Is it supposed to be SHOULD or SHOULDN'T?
Ok, now according to the unrevoked package ran from my computer, the phone is officially ROOTED again. Is there any further steps needed to get back to "NORMAL"? I mean, I thought that I already had the proper HTC Boot version and all that, but you gave me the impression that I didn't. I'm not giving up, but this is exactly why I didn't feel right about doiing a ROOT in the first place, I'm just a clutz when it comes to this stuff. Thanks for your continued patience.
Ack, I'm sorry, I meant "shouldn't". There's no reason why it *shouldn't* work. Obviously you figured that out since it worked
. Sorry about that.Anyway, in your OTA updates, you potentially updated your hboot version if you didn't already have 2.10. It doesn't really matter since unrevoked roots everything available right now. You are now officially rooted. When I said you might get errors, it's because you already had s-off, which is a part of unrevoked. It wouldn't have made a difference. As long as you a) have s-off listed in hboot, b) have a custom recovery (clockwork) once again, and c) can get the # prompt in a terminal emulator when typing "su" then enter, you're good to go.
EDIT: Oh, and make sure you have the Superuser app. I see you no reason why you wouldn't, but go ahead and verify.
Thanks for your continued patience.

Thanks for the reply.
