Sony X10 on orange

Hi all,

I noticed on this forum but cannot find it now that their is an executive email address for orange. Does anyone have it

I had 3 X10s and all had the same problem where it would take at least 5 or 6 attempts to connect to call.

The last time the customer service advisor told me I would be getting a Nokia X6 and was told it was to similar specifications to the Sony X10. After being told it was being delivered I looked it up online and have to say the Nokia X6 is no-where near to what the X10.

I called up to complain and weas told nothing could be done because i accepted the phone. When I spoke to that advisor I was told that they normally ask there customers to check the phone out online first. The previous advisor didnt do this.

I wish to complain but I know Orange Customer Services will try and get out of it!

Can anyone help with that Orange Email address.

Hi there,

I have gone down this route but they keep messing me around. I saw in one of the posts a week ago thatt heir was an email address for sonewhere quite high up in orange and they dealt with complaints quicker and more effectively.

I had to call twice to get this sorted and still get nowhere. Basically got to the point where it going to be my word against the Customer Service Rep and I know for fact that he wrote down the wrong information on my records!

Okay so you've received a DMR (Different Model Replacement) from your X10 to some Nokia Device?

That would be down to the back office team that sits 'behind' our Handset Fault department. When you were spoken to about this phone, were you given an option? (as in, Nokia or XX) When did you get your DRM?

Regards,

Dan

Hi Dan,

no I wasnt given an option. I was told that I would have an Nokia X6. I made a complaint today and was pratically told that because I accepted the phone there was nothing they could do. I more pissed off with orange because everytime I call they tell me different things.

I was due a call back and hour ago and have not recieved one so thinking of just cancelling my direct debits and taking this to trading standards.

You have a 10 day cooling off period to return any handset changes or upgrades you decide you don't want, no matter what the reason. Orange should then return you to your original plan and handset.

I had a similar problem with an incompetent c/s adviser basically getting me to upgrade to an inferior device. I was happy to do it as I was just going to sell the new handset and continue to use the old one. The new sim card however, didn’t work in my old handset despite being reassured on a number of occasions.
