ok so phone wont fully power on it gets stuck at the lg screen for a long time then the metro pcs screen and thats where the it stops can anyone offer any advise to help me get my phone on?

If you cannot get past the booting process the only thing that is going to save your phone is the LGNPST method for flashing devices back to 2.2 (that was the orig. purpose, works great for this too). Here is a link to the thread.
Good luck and let us know if you got it to work or had any issues. I just had to do this myself a couple days ago after deleting browser.apk and the odex cuz I thought I could get away with it.
okay so i got my phone working again, but phone wont recognize the sd card and wont and wont connect to the lap top.al l the metro pre set apps that i discarded are still off the phone does that mean im still rooted?
