Worms, now available on the Market

sweet finally, but wish it had online multiplayer
that ticking sound get a bit annying after a while hehe
but still awesome game

Dude, I'm in NY and I can't find this. Something's up.

Edit: Never mind, I found it. For some reason, it's way down on the list of Market apps when searching for "Worms"

Yeah, it's pretty far down. Nice to have the original Worms, Armored Strike just didn't do it for me...felt like a cheap rip off of Gunbound and Worms but wasn't nearly as polished as either.

Found it, thanks. Pretty bad reviews though. I'll give it a try anyways

I found it to be just as enjoyable as the original. Takes a bit to get used to touch screen controls, but its the same as it's always been. There's just a bunch of cry babies on the Android Market, and making them pay a whole $3 makes a ton of people automatically downrate it.

I wouldn't call someone giving a bad review because it doesn't work on their phone a crybaby. Unfortunately games don't work with every device. NFS doesn't work my phone, thankfully this one does.

Not so much interested in the game, but we are seeing a slow trickle of "iOS" games coming to android. This can only be good news.

When you downrate the product simply because it didn't work for you, I would say that is prety stupid. That said, I am not sure of an acceptable alternate, being that giving it ANY starts at that point wouldn't make it an honest review either.

Still not showing up for me. Cappy running 2.1 stock. Now it shows up on my HD2 running 2.2 so I am guessing this is a 2.2 thing here so please, no custom rom responses that is not the kind of answer I am looking for.

Yup, Android isn't having fragmentation issues. Every flavor of Android is treated the same.

I read the controls are the same as the iPhone4. That will take getting used to. But that package is 400 megs. The Android version is 30 megs. I wonder what the difference is. Well, my iPhone4 version works.
