Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus NOW AVAILABLE

Make sure you have access to WiFi. After installing the base apk the game requires an additional 330MB.

While the Android Market support would be great that reason for not buying a game is getting old. Get used to it as more and more app stores are opening all the time and Amazons is definitely coming. If you want 3D games on your phone you might just have to suck it up and make the purchase.

So any reason why you wouldn't or is it just a knee jerk reaction.

No Market, no sale. When will Gameloft learn?

Well it's not available for the HTC Incredible as it has a very slow GPU.

If it was on the market you would have been able to buy it. If you did you would have been disappointed with the bad performance. You would have wanted to return it, but there is no way you could do it in time with the large 330MB download. So you would be stuck with it and end up giving them a bad rating.

I can't see them coming to the Android Market till Google let's them target specific models so as not to allow non compatible device owners to buy it. Does anyone else not see this?

I was just wondering how buying through gamloft moblie webpage works, primarily SMS. Is the cost of the download added on to my monthly bill.

Thanks

Yes that's exactly what they do. But you can also pay by credit card and they just added pay pal.

Eh. I'm sure it would look good on my X, but I'm not a fan of Gameloft. Not because of their Market presence (or lack thereof), but I've played a lot of their games on my home consoles (or handhelds) before. They make excellent replicas, but not a whole lot of original stuff.

Im bought the game using the sms method an hour ago an still havent got a text from them to download. Will I be charged even if I didnt confirm buying it through sms.

Thanks

I bought this it works great on Samsung galaxy s (epic 4g). Gameloft may not make original games. But at least they make fun hq moblie games. Companies with huge budgets, (that milk cash from its userbase repeatedly with dlc) don't even care about representing their brand in the mobile space.

I never use SMS as it never works for me with Gameloft or anyone.

I tried to buy one of their games that way a couple months ago. After it never came I called them, they sent me a download link and never charged me for the game.

So try giving them a call or just pay by credit card.

Also they should have sent you an Apk file in your email. so you could manually upload the game via usb/bluetooth/etc to your device.

My only concern is I bought it through the sms method but never got a email or text to confirm the purchase so im just wondering if ill get charged on my bill

You will not get an email if you buy it through SMS. If you didn't get the SMS your carrier probably doesn't support carrier payment with gameloft.

Call them or buy by credit.

They will probably never, ever email an .apk.

Do they still do the "one download forever" thing? I like the games, but in this day and age, it is possible for consumers to lose devices...

Any more impressions? Particularily from a Nexus One user?

true, ima ctually concerned, because the N1 and The Desire has this multi touch glitch , that whenever the axis crosses it kinda' gets crazy (the mulittouch)..anyway just google this issue..its a hardware issue..

I tried NOVA but it seem to exhibit this glitch, not too often but it bothers me and affects gameplay..

i wonder how Desire or N1 user find this...

Great game anyways! I hope I get myself a droid x soon! (or better yet one of them 4G Tegra phones)

If you pay by credit card or paypal they will email you the apk. With sms they do not.

The one download thing is of the pas, they got rid of that months ago. If I go to gameloft on the desktop or mobile phone and go to my downloads and put in my email (if paid by credit, paypal) or phone number (if paid by sms) and it will list all my purchases allowing me to download them again.

As far as I cant tell this game only supports the HTC EVO 4G, HTC Desire Z \ G2, HTC MyTouch 4G, Motorola Droid 2 \ Milestone 2, Motorola Droid X and the Samsung Galaxy S.

I'm surprised the Evo is supported as it has the slow Adreno 200 GPU. But since its so popular I guess they had to add support. But I wouldn't expect great performance.

If you want this game make sure you have a device with an Adreno 205 or PowerVR SGX530 or better.

Also, it appears that this game does not work with Android 2.3. It does not support the Nexus S and a user on another site mentioned his device running Cyanogen 7 did not work as well.
