Root How do you get 100% back to stock?

I have to part ways with my SF for a while and so I'm handing it off for a friend to use.

I'm rooted, cwm and voodoo'd--and my hope is that I could just get it back to bone stock before I give it to him.

Is there any one/simple way to get this done?

or do i need to remove voodoo, odin, push stock kernels, etc... (I wish i dont have too...)

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys!
 
im bricked, stuck on the samsung boot screen. trying to go back to 100% stock.
i've tried DL'ing all the stock stuff i need from everywhere on the web...all i keep getting is the same link tho, to the "dl.dropbox" site, that comes up with a 404 error... can anyone help me out here? need the stock restore DL's!

Are you trying to get to stock DI01 or DL09?
 
i ended up fixing it...but the reason i went back to 100% stock was, i got the OTA yesterday to update to DL09...but even still now that i am 100% stock, the update keeps failing every time...

I would avoid the dl09 unless you just need gps, it seems to be more trouble than gain.
 
I would push the original DI01 to the phone and never look at that crap DL09. My phone has had more problems since the DL09 update than before. Bluetooth problems and no usb connection is not worth the trade off for a faster gps.

yeah the dl09 ota is a mess...odin versions of dj05/dl09 are significantly better
 
DJ05 is the cleanest, non crap filled version available. Whether is was released to the public or not is irrelevant.

I do rely on my phone gps, had droid x and it worked perfectly...this phone had me lost! Wouldn't work worth crap! But what are the problems with DL09? Also if I do dl the ota for dl09, after I am on verizons dl09, am I still able to flash on dj05 if I wanted to oc, and rom/theme my phone?

You can flash back to dj05 after the ota but frankly the dl09 ota has a lot of issues surrounding clockwork recovery, root, and sdcard mounting....you are better of using odin to upgrade to dj05 or dl09 instead of taking the ota
