Hello everyone,
I am buying this phone(LG Optimus one P500) in the next couple of days. However I am confused about the following points.

1) Which operating system does it consist?

2) How is the performance in terms of Video Output? i.e. I am a heavy gamer and Playing games on this phone with high resolution is one of the reasons why am I buying it. So, Did you experience any Lags while playing games?

3) I will use this phone to download torrents as well as I am having BSNL 3g Card. So does this phone supports BSNL 3g? How am I suppose to download Movies directly from Torrentz to my phone? Does is support .avi?

4) Will I be able to play direct videos from youtube? i.e. YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. and not the m.youtube.com(which is for mobile)?

5) Does is contain adobe flash? If no, how am I suppose to install?

6) Which one to choose and Why? Lg Optimus one P500 Vs Samsung Galaxy 3 Vs any other suggestions?

Please help me guys as I will get one these smartphones in next 2 days. On your suggestions I am going to Buy it. Looking for your great support. Please Help me soon.

Thank you.

1. Android 2.2 out of box(LG says you will get Gingerbread 2.3)

2. This phone is not meant for Heavy Gamer with High Resolution you will need to spend some more money and go with some high end phones, this is pretty basic phone.

3. Sorry No Idea.

4. No

5. Adobe Flash is not supported on this Phone.

6. How much is your budget? if the choice comes between LG optimus one P500 and Samsung Galaxy 3, then go for Optimus, mind it both has it own + and - , if you can pay more and want Adobe Flash support then go for HTC Desire @ 22.5K at flipkart india.

Thank you.

1) 2.2, upgradable to 2.3 soon (although existing 2.2 is more than adequate)

2) Like already said, this is a pretty basic android phone. For gaming needs you require better processor, at the cost of more price. You can go for high end android phones with higher processors viz 1 GHz

3) Torrents on mobiles is something I am unheard till now. I am not sure if this large data handling can be managed by mobile processors. If at all yes, optimus isn't the phone. Follow Sr. No. 2

4) No

5) No. Can be installed from market

6) At this price band (10-15K) go for optimus. Definately, if you have to select between optimus and galaxy 3

Hope this helps.

@paarkhi

@Both
One last question (At least for time Being) Lolz,....
Can we transfer the messages i.e. SMS to SD card as I hate to see the pop message saying MESSAGE MEMORY FULL.
Please Reply guys....Thanks a billion....

1) It runs the LG pimped version of Android v2.2 Froyo.

2) I did experience some lags at one point when I loaded the phone with too much games. But it does have a LOT of memory for an average smartphone. You get what you pay for. :)

3) I don't really know. I don't think it supports .avi because I've tried it already. It runs DivX and MP4 though. One problem with Mp4 videos though is that it lags a lot. You have to choose your videos well.

4) No.

5) This can be taken from the market, I believe. But I haven't tried it yet.

6) I'd choose the LG Optimus One because it is currently my phone and I'm very satisfied with it. :))
