that is just sickening.
well let me ask this...is the "full" version of firefox availble on the phone...or just through the webtop application?
Everything that Motorola has show, just shows Firefox in webtop mode.

I still think AT&T sees Atrix as a device targeting business users. Note the line in the article about offering Blackberry-like subsidized pricing on the phone (and presumably dock) to corporate customers.
Yep Nail in the coffin.
Thanks for the info Guys, see you around the next Big Technological breakthrough.
yuck what is att doing to this phone?
good. i can buy the inspire and return it with in 30 days for the atrix.

Look at the key facts:
"Motorola ATRIX 4G is expected to be available from AT&T and select retail channels for customers by March 6 or earlier."
That says "or earlier". I just got an email from a retailer saying that AT&T has confirmed a Feb 14th launch.(which is not a Sunday though)
so far everything points to charging at night for the inspire so if i can get 12 hours im good also big difference between mytouch4G and inspire is inspire has sense 2.0 the only phone in US with it right now
$500? That is obscene since we know there is no on-board computing power or storage. I really don't know what they are thinking, I am really thinking about not getting the Atrix at this point. I mean 75% of the reason I wanted it was for the laptop dock, but if they expect me to pay $500 for a battery pack, keyboard, and LCD, with a plastic housing they are sorely mistaken. Even $500 for the bundle is outrageous, I paid that much for my unsubsidized Motorola Milestone, and they want me to pay that price for a subsidized phone. I'll take screw you AT&T for $500 Alex(Jeopardy reference).
AT&T will offer bundled pricing of $499.99 for the smartphone and the Motorola laptop dock. Separately, the laptop is $499.99.

This part is wrong. Marc has already stated in Atrix there will not be an additional teethering plan for use with the lap top doc?
Am i missing something?
I think there IS a market for this. With a lower price of around $100 this would be an awesome device for a 10 to 18 year old or struggling first job living in an apartment type of person.

yea bro the actual press release from AT&T says tethering required for laptop dock
I think there's been made a mistake, since according to the atricle the stand-alone Laptop Dock costs the same as a Laptop Dock + Atrix 4G...
The first combines ATRIX 4G and the Motorola Laptop Dock for a promotional price of $499.99 after a two-year service contract and $100 mail-in-rebate after subscription to Data Pro smartphone data plan and tethering add on.
If the laptop dock is priced @ $499, then I would hate to see what the multimedia dock is priced at. Probably $150

Obviously, the person who wrote that article made a mistake.I need to hear this in an AT&T press release. This is a little crazy but I still might get it if the phone and laptop dock will be $500. Hell some people were talking about paying full price for the phone which would have probably been the same price or more. Sucks for the people who have to pay full price if they want the laptop dock.
"Firefox browser use with AT&T Mobile Broadband requires Tethering Plan."
Unbelievable. AT&T is so evil.

So, when does the Nexus 3 come out?
