Andrea you have converted me!

I was always wanting to get the Inspire just because I think HTC is better than Moto. Plus Sense is pretty cool. My Aria is a cool phone it's just too tiny to type and read on and I am wanting something bigger!! :)

I agree, HTC IMO is the best phone manufacturer (hardware/software) and I like the sense on my Aria as well. It works great... just too darn small!

I would love to get this phone I just have to figure out a way to get out of my 4 month old renewal contract I signed in November. Hopefully with the iPhone going to Verizon next week, AT&T will work with customers wanting to stay with them wish me luck!!

Don't think I'll get $400 for an iPhone 3g. :)
I'll just try to tell AT&T that I'll take my 4 lines elsewhere and see if they'd be willing to work with me, some people in other forums have said they've had luck with that approach.

I've been wanting to switch from my iPhone to an android phone for a while now, but my work just started supporting corporate email on Android last month. That being said, I've been trying to decide which phone to get. I'm planning to stay with AT&T, so my decision was either the Atrix or the Inspire. After they were announced, I was Atrix all the way based on the specs (the laptop dock didn't do anything for me and I'm not planning to get it - especially with the price). Not being too familiar with Android, Sense versus Motoblur didn't mean much to me. After reading the discussions on this forum and watching some videos of the two UIs, I'm pretty sure I like the look of Sense much better. So, unless I flip-flop back the other way over the next two weeks, I'm getting the Inspire.

I've had terrific luck with my Captivate. Not one problem, and I really use it a lot. That said I'm very seriously considering the HTC Inspire.

I have just a couple of concerns.

1) It lacks Swype, an input method I really like. I handle lots of email & Swype makes it fast, fun, & easy. Anyone have any idea if I can install Swype on the Inspire?

2) I'm uncertain about the battery & other doors on the back. Some reviews are critical of the fit & difficulty in removing & replacing.

3) Battery life. I get great life from my Captivate. The Inspire reports I've read say that battery life is not great.

The attraction of the Inspire for me is the larger display and extra 4mm in width compared to the Captivate. I have large hands, therefore it will be very comfortable for me. Also I will be using it for web browsing, so the larger the display is the better.

Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks!
