skype may make it the hotspot is still being tweaked to manage power a lil better. u dont want to kill ur battery in 45min

how is the battery on the bolt? I don't expect miracles just surprised it's that small

the battery is surprisingly good on 3g. 4g with anything kills the battery faster but we have nice power management in place

No proof per se. Got the date from a VZW insider and it coincides with all the other data that I've collected so far ... But I'm putting all my eggs in that one 24th basket.

What's even worse is I still love my Incredible and honestly before I got into Android I really never cared much about my phone as long as I could text and make calls I was happy I had a Dare for almost 2yrs

It is in the add in Atlanta. It says "Introducing the 4G Thunderbolt by HTC from Verizon" with "coming soon" and "Pre-order your Thunderbolt by HTC with a $50 deposit." It has a picture and takes up a quarter of the page.
 
Darn! I hopped out of bed this morning and ran to my computer, thinking I could pre-order from Verizon today. No dice.... :( Maybe Tuesday?

So, do you figure it's going to be busy? I mean, there was no paper circular in the newspaper so I can only assume people (like us) who have been following the release of this thing are the only ones going? I doubt Joe Public will be there.

Theres like 3-4 other Best Buy's in the area, we should be fine. I'm just waiting to see what people find out on release date. Some who have gone to BB's this morning on other sites are reporting 17th and 24th as release dates.

I'll be business traveling on the 24th so IDK how that will work for a reserve.

That and the fact today is the Super Bowl and the circular really has no info.
