Help Htc desire sync 3 problems

OK,

I am already sick of HTC sync tool and wishing I had got an IPHONE.
Why do I need a smart phone if it does not talk to my computer?

Sync does not recognize my fone and W7 asks for ADB DRIVER.

Make sure you have the latest version of HTC Sync for Desire, from the htc.com page. Uninstall any previous program first.... you should get a 'smatphone' icom when the right version is installed.
