Will the TB be available on a 1-year contract?

I was browsing through my account today and was messing around with adding a line when I noticed that the iPhone is only available on a 2-year contract. I can absolutely see VZW doing the same thing with the TB. Does anyone have any insight into if the TB will be available on a 1-year contract?

I suppose the iPhone thing could be some negotiation between Apple and VZW, but hopefully it isn't the new way of VZW doing business.

On a side note, could you imagine how pissed those new VZW iPhone users are going to be when the iPhone 5 comes out in July and they're 6 months into a 2-year contract? LOL!

There have been rumors of $329.99 for a 1 year contract (if you buy from Verizon - not Best Buy), but it hasn't been confirmed to my knowledge.

I really hope the Thunderbolt is available on a 1 year contract through Verizon. If the Thunderbolt is available on a 1 year contract, it's a slam dunk - I'm getting it! If the Thunderbolt is NOT available on a 1 year contract, I might spring for the dual-core Atrix.

Do you mean the Bionic because the atrix is AT&T?

I have read the same thing about 1-year for $329.99

That's what they get for not being smart and buying that phone when it's 8 months old already, the TB comes out a few weeks later, and i6 will be 4 months old by the time they can buy a new phone lol.

I asked my local VZ store guy, he said yes TBolt will be available for 1 year. But the price will be higher and you can't use your NE2 discount with 1 yr plan.

That's my dilemma with the NE2. While I'd like to do a 1 year, do I really want to spend $130+tax extra? ($329 vs. $249-$50)

But on the flip side, I've been waiting to upgrade my LG Dare for almost a year now! First waited on the DINC, then the DX, now the Thunderbolt! If I change my mind again, my wife will kill me!
