yeah, everything in our system is exactly the same, 2-21-11 in stock date, no street date, no WE CANT SELL THIS UNTIL x emails.

i was told at my best buy that if the date stays the same when the 21st rolls around they can officially sell the phone. but my question is do you guys receive deliverys of product on weekends let alone on a holiday like monday.

we get drop shipments on weekends, I'll have to check about monday
 
i called today and asked the lady when it will be launched and if its past the 26th will i still have the free buyback program and she said "i dont know when it will be released but as soon as we get it we'll be selling it" so the 21st is still sounding good. and she said if its past the 26th they will probably still honor the free buyback program just bring it up with them
 
I called my BB as well, just to see what info I could squeak out. lol He seemed irritated, like a million people (or maybe just me a million times?? Hmmm) had already called. He said they will call as soon as they have them in. I said I knew it was going to be in the ad for tomorrow and wanted to know when tomorrow I could come pick mine up. He informed that he does even know if it will be in the ad, how do I know. lol So I said I have my sources, to which he replied "your source is wrong, and even if it's in the ad that doesn't mean we have to sell it." I informed him that I work for a law firm, and know full well the legalities of such things. Then he tells me that they have them in store, but doesn't know when they will be calling people!! They got their shipment today, late morning early afternoon. Hot diggity, it's happening! BB Store in Beavercreek, OH

I am in the Middletown OH area and NICE!

I am confident that vzw will be selling this phone on the exact same day that BB does!

Great! I can't say for 100% certainty that they guy didn't just want to get me off the phone so he told me whatever he thought sounded good. lol However, he did acknowledge it would be in the ad! lol
 
It would be awesome to get a call tomorrow or Monday telling me to come and get it. I think I was the first one to preorder. Funny thing was, when I preordered on the 6th, I called in at like 11 that morning and the lady had no idea about the preorder. So then I called back about an hour later and said well i saw the preorder thing on the web site, and she was like well just because its on the web doesn't mean preorders are at the store. Then she went and asked and came back and said well I guess we are doing preorders and we just haven't got the info on it yet. So anyways then I went in a couple hours later and they had the form and all that. It was just funny cause they had no clue at first.

My husband and I were #113 and #114 to pre order. As we are talking he pulls out his EVO and says he doesn't understand the hype, as it's just an EVO knock off. Whaaaaaat? Blasphemy I tell you. lol

Maybe thats why you haven't gotten the call yet. Even if they did get over 100 units in, it may take a while to call that many people.
 
I just called local verizon store. At first he said the phone is not available yet. When i pushed a bit more he said check back next week. Then I push for the date, he didn't give me one but he did said again "check back next week". Take it for what it's worth :)

damn thats way down the list i just preorderd on thursday and im #1. you should find another place to preorder from.
 
Droid Life is reporting via Twitter that the Thuderbolt is showing in Verizons Cellebrite system. Sounds pretty good to me. Maybe this week is still a go.

Wait, really? Are we talking about the one on N. Fairfield? I live in Beavercreek too and I was waiting for it to release at VZW right across the street. lol

Do you have a pre-order. Did he mention how many phones they are going to have in stock?
 
Most people's weeks begin on Sunday, including retail establishments (which is why their ads run from Sunday to Sunday). Just sayin....
