I think we can all agree to stay on topic - and that does not include side-chatter about who knows which laws.

There was a post relating a store experience - it needn't be critiqued to fit some norm.
 
Interesting! Come on, 24th! It sure would be nice to nail down a solid date so I can list my Incredible. It would be nice to have the sale money for the TB, but would suck to sell the Inc and have the release date moved, or backorder hell, or something crazy.

Sold and shipped my X out on This past Monday. (My bad) Bought a X at BB, will return (if)when the TB comes out.
 
Today at BB mobile in Mall of America I asked the rep in person when i would be able to pick up my tbolt. She said "If we dont have it on the 28th you can have an iphone for free". she seemed pretty sure.

Yea, at this point, they can't even give that crap away for free. doesnt really say much about how confident she was.
 
Wow lots of Ohio peeps up in here! Mansfield born and raised then went to Wright State for four years... Good to see the OH... And can't wait for this phone! I'm of the opinion that it oid going to be out on the 24th without Skype (which frankly I don't care about) then they will do an OTA when Skype releases their app in the 28th...

I was checking out the FedEX website and according to them, they ship on Monday still, there is no mention of them being closed, and when you do a shipment/time estimate it includes delivery options being delivered on monday, tuesday or wednesday if shipped out today.

only the Post Office and other government organizations are closed.

My used Palm Treo 650 is here! :) I will be dumping my DX so I can reset my upgrade eligibility. HOPEFULLY the Treo will last me till the TB shows up.
 
no i meant our dummy isnt here. We are still getting our normal Best Buy delivery and possibly a fedex delivery on monday
 
so, bad news, just checked my toolkit and we have a correction notice for the ad tomorrow.

The Thunderbolt is being delayed, and Skype video calling won't be available.

We don't give a date or anything...but I think the skype thing isn't a big issue, it'll be pushed out later...but the delay...wow.
 
Some people are owed apologies for the ration of crap they got from people pinning their hopes on this ad, when they reported the delay. Just sayin.

HTC Thunderbolt is now available according to bestbuy lol,
it confirms there is no Skype though, (who cares though?)

We just want the phone lol

look at the description under the header

"The HTC Thunderbolt (Verizon) and HTC Inspire 4g (AT&T) are now available."

hopefully that means its NOT delayed, but is instead emphasizing on Skype not being available at launch and Thunderbolt is available starting this coming week as a result of that decision.
