Accessories seidio innocase active, opinions please

Any of you guys that have the seidio case innocase active, what's your opinions of it? The main question i have is does the rubber around the front edge stay down firmly or is it flimsy? Lint collector?
 
And does it work with the extended battery, even though they say it does not.

Interested to hear opinions here as well.

+1 Same here, I have been eying this case for a few days now, saw it on Amazon for 20 bucks. Seems like a pretty slim case with plenty of protection and got good reviews from what I can see, also accepting the extended battery is always a plus seeing as I want to get one soon. Wanting to hear some input from someone who owns this already...
 
Oh come on someone has to have this case! Been days with no opinions posted. I might have to get it just so i can help the others out that are wanting to know as well.
 
I have the seidio rugged case. I think the innocase is the same as the first layer of this case. If so it's nice. fits very well, closes securely, and in combination with a screen protector your phone will be well protected from anything that may scratch it.

It's nice and slim, so it doesn't add bulk, and the finish is nice and powdery smooth feeling. It's not a lint collector like the silicone cases either (till you put on the rugged layers like me).

All and all it's a very nice case for someone that doesn't spend a lot of time in highly dusty or damp conditions. I do construction and walk around on dusty job sites all day so I needed something that covered the ports on the phone.

FWIW: the Platinum brand case at best buy is the EXACT same case. I know this because that's what I bought to use until my new one showed up. It would appear to be the same case just unmarked for best buy to sell.
 
I think it would depend on which battery you get. I am going to be receiving my extended battery (or should be) tomorrow, but it is only the 1890mAh motorola BH6X battery. Which I have read that you can use the factory cover and only raises it a couple mm... that being said I would expect this case to work with that extended battery. Now the crazy 3500mAh batteries that look like a hemorrhoid on steroids.... i doubt there is any case that will fit that, or it would at least be difficult to find.

I am going to be ordering this case regardless tonight or tomorrow so I will keep you all informed.

Here is the one I am about to order... I originally thought the Active looked like the rugged only to find out that Amazon has the wrong pictures up... either way, gonna go with this one in hopes that it fits with the extended battery :D

Awesome. I have the Moto/VZW or whatever you want to label it BH6 battery. Bought it when I first got the phone. Keep me posted if you don't mind once you get the case and battery in hand.

You already have the BH6X battery? It fits properly with the factory battery cover right? I will find out either way shortly, just curious...

And I ordered the case last night and should be in on the 2nd or so, I will most definitely keep you all updated.

Yeah I've always used the BH6X. Never even ran the stock battery at all. I recall reading that the stock cover does fit with the extended battery, but also read that there are issues with it.

I use the extended battery cover door. It only adds about 1mm of thickness.
 
Well to answer my own question the cover does fit.. its a tight fitbut it works fine. Also noticed my battery temp has gone down a lot. It sit at around 23 celsius instead on like 29.

That's cool. I remember there was a lot of discussion last year about about whether or not it fits, if you should use it or not etc due to it being a tight fit.

Good to know its working cool for you.

does it put extra pressure on the screen? mine did so i used the extended batt cover so it wouldnt mess up the screen.

i ordered the seidio active case in sage color. i ordered it from moneyca.com for cheaper than i could find the green any where else. ill let ya know what kind of seller they are. after i get the case.

What I noticed i that the first time putting the cover back on, you really had to push it up pretty hard and it was definitely a little bit of a fight, I worked it on and off a few times and now it slides just as smoothly as the stock battery. I don't feel any extra tension on the screen, I even took the battery out and it feels/looks exactly the same, no bowing of the case or anything either. Few more days till I get mine, cant wait!
 
well as far as where i got mine from, moneyca.com, i would not recommend them at all. im having to go through paypal now to try and get a refund. they wont respond to any of my several emails and its been almost 2 weeks since i ordered it and it was supposed to be here within 3 days. very frustrated cause now i have to wait till i can try and get this resolved with them before i can order another one. since i dont know what their going to do either send one or give me a refund. hopefully i can just get a refund so i can order another one from some where else.
 
Thanks for the info and sorry for your troubles. Hopefully it gets resolved soon so you can get one... I would recommend checking amazon out. That is where I ordered mine, also even the seidio website was only a few dollars extra from amazon and they have all of the colors, so if you need to order directly from them to ensure you get what you want, do it.
 
That's where I was looking at first was amazon. Their the cheapest for the black ones but i wanted something different and green was like $12 more than where i found it. But i would gladly pay a lil extra not to have to put up with this.
 
Has anyone tested this case with the extended battery and the extended battery door yet?

Well I finally received my case in the mail today, which btw for anyone planning on buying one, I bought mine from Amazon from the company called "1 To 3 Company", and one thing I did not know until I got the package was they have a 30 day no questions asked full refund policy... It looks like if you don't want it or don't like it you can return it to them no problem.

As far as the case goes, one thing I noticed right off the bat is the it seems extremely durable, especially for a slim case (still with some protection). It's obviously no Kraken but it seems that it would definitely give you enough protection for a decent fall. The buttons are all easily accessable and easy to push (the lock is a LITTLE bit more harder to get in but barely noticeable).

The case was extremely easy to install, only 2 pieces and they fit very nicely. I do have the OEM Motorola BH6X extended battery WITHOUT the extended battery cover, although my cover does still stick up about 1mm from stock, which from what I hear is about the same amount that the extended battery cover does. The case fits no problems and lines up well all around the edges. The only downfall which I noticed immediately (which I am pretty sure every case does this) is that the dust in your pocket sticks to the rubber silicone inner case. Not a big deal, just an FYI.

Overall I think it is a great case, good looking, definitely NOT bulky at all and feels no different in my pant pockets. I wear somewhat baggy jeans but it really doesn't add that much bulk to it at all. It feels great in my hands, basically the same grip just more to grab onto so I feel more comfotable now (wow just re-read that.... sounded pretty dirty HAHA).

Anyway, hope that helps all of you interested in purchasing the case!
