Root Which netarchy kernal should I flas+

Ok back for the update guys. I tried the nohavs nosuv version of netarchys 4.3.2 kernel and I'm still getting the issue of stuck on white screen on reboot, yes I wiped cache and dalvik cache. And no setcpu is not set on boot, nor is disable perflock. i even wiped dalvik again before my first boot into the OS. I honestly have no clue why these kernels don't want to work for me.

Edit: maybe there is another kernel I should try out to see if its something else? I've been wanting to try kingxkernel.

I've been playing with 2 brand new phones lately (1 week old). Both phones had issues with netarchy's more HAVS, getting stuck in boot loop etc. Since installing the less HAVS kernel both phones are running excellent.

Tried less havs already, both more and less havs work fine on my phone its just when I reboot my phone that causes me problems

Have you been doing this all on the same ROM? Have you, at any point, tried reflashing the ROM? I don't remember what all you tried. Did you try:

1) Make a nandroid backup
2) Wipe cache/dalvik/data
3) Reflash ROM
4) Test rebooting a few times to see if it gets stuck
5) Flash netarchy kernel of your choice
6) Test rebooting a few times

That will help rule out other issues. If you've already tried that, and I forgot, then ignore me :).

Is it ok if I flash an older nandroid backup of mikfroyo? Its basically stock mikfroyo except with my apps and contacts on it

Edit: rebooting without a custom kernel is fine on my phone its just when I flash a kernel that gives me problems, ive even tried nohavs nosuv version of netarchy

Okay, that is helpful, but go ahead and try on a clean ROM, as well. I'm not saying you need to keep a wiped ROM (make a nandroid backup of what you've got first); it's just a baseline. So, start with a fresh ROM, flash the kernel, and see if you still have issues. When you're done testing, you can restore your backup.

well i followed your instructions and upon reboot im still getting the issue of it getting stuck on white screen also when i press to wipe dalvik cache, before it gives me the option to press yes - wipe dalvik cache it say on the bottom

E: can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2
(file exists)

once i press yes however it wipes it no problem

im currently flashing a nandroid of my phone btw

Have you ever partitioned your sdcard?

Yes, try that next. Use either the stock ROM or a different custom one, and let's see what that does.

before i try a different rom i want to try a different kernel just to see how my phone will react. is ziggys ztest-EVO-CFS-HAVS-012111 a good choice?

Yes, that's a good kernel. Try it out if you like. Just know that even if it works, it doesn't explain why netarchy doesn't. I still suggest you try a different ROM, etc. (unless ziggy's works and you're happy with it).
