Best Buy Details

My friend from vz told me that, he said they wouldn't know when it's available till a day or so before it comes out. Cause I have been asking him every week whats goin on.
 
I've been reading the last 32 or so pages of the last few weeks siting on pins and needles about the Thunderbolt release. I persaonally came from T-Mobile and got a free Incredible on the 10th. Resently my 2 Verizon corp stores says the 28th as of yesterdays, I asked my bestbuy that has my pre-order and they said they expecting a shipment tomorrow and then to sale them on the 24th.
So I figure I call the best buy thats right around the corner and the rep told me he actually have them in but plan on selling them on the 27th if not delayed again. Think im going to go up there and comfirm with a manager if he really has them in. He actually said he has seen the HTC Thunderbolt Boxes. Ill take it like a grain of salt but im expecting it to start selling no later than 28th of Feb. But at the same time no official word from verizon.

I wouldn't give it much hope. I just got back from my BB on my way back from work; the manager at the Tuttle Crossing store in Columbus Ohio told me not only are they not in, they don't expect them until mid-March.

I don't trust his date more than anybody else's, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be saying it if they had phones in.
 
I'm just so frustrated by all of this. Realistically, if it were to come out 2/28, in the end, that would be fine and we would all look back at this and it would be okay. But it's the not knowing!!! Just give me a release date! Tell me truthfully that it is March blah, I just want to know!

Sorry, I needed to vent. Spent the last two days with my four-year-old who is constipated for the first time in her life and is traumatized by it. Screaming like she's giving birth. I know, way too much information, but at this point I don't care. I'm just tired of getting yelled at by a kid and not getting any word out of Verizon either. Thanks to everyone who is trying to help on the info front.

There, I feel better.

With all these "coming soon" commercials and statements, I was just wondering when 'soon' is not longer really that soon. I'd say that they have a week leeway for it to still be considered soon otherwise its just coming 'sometime'......
 
Well I got their and waited for about 15min because there was only two BB mobile employees one was activating a inspire 4g for att, and the other who who I've seen a number of times in the past helping someone with cases. So he finally comes to me and ask can I help you? I say I called a few mins ago about the HTC Thunderbolt and I was told there in stock. he said yes I do have them, I said are u sure he said yes we are going to sale them Sunday if Verizon dont delay them. Then I said again lol, your sure you have seen the boxes of the HTC Thunderbolt and he said yes again. So i tell him about all the speculation going around on the phone and stuff and that im really excited to get the phone and what not.

THEN HE THROWS ME THE KICKER, "YOUR ACTUALLY LEANING ON THE CASE THEIR IN" I was like OMG OMG, I was like ill try my luck I asked can i take a picture/see them, he laugh and said no are you trying to get my fired and we both laughed, I was like so there right there not even 1ft away he says yes there in that case your leaning on. So there it is My Best Buy haves them in. we talked for about 10-15min since it was not busy about the phone. GET UR PRE-Orders In. And u know the case right the ones the grab phones from under the display.

All of these commercials are what's making it worse. I've seen the commercial 7 times in the past 2 hours. I swear its on every channel, they are advertising the f out of this but yet it's not available to buy and won't even give a hint as to when. :mad:

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night when he heard that the Thunderbolt was delayed. I guess it's pretty serious.
