HAHA

Haha, I woke up to a thunderstorm here this morning. At first I was like, :), then I was like, =(.

I hit two BB's and talked to 4 Verizon stores (2 of them corporate) today. The same story from all of them. On a good note though, all 6 told me they cant say for sure but they have been led to believe Monday the 28th. It's all speculation though

i sent HTC a email, heres what they said

I would be more than happy to clarify this for you, Matthew. Truth be told, the Thunderbolt was a phone that was customized for Verizon, by Verizon. Every aspect of this phone (including launch date) is completely up to them. Verizon has not confirmed any launch dates for the Thunderbolt, so we're not able to say for sure when it will be released. We're just as much in the dark as everyone else is. The Thunderbolt is going to be among the first 4G phones on the Verizon network. In all honesty, we're far from upset at Verizon. We appreciate the fact that they want to make sure that their new 4G network is able to handle the new 4G traffic, and that they've fine-tooth-combed the device to ensure that there are no major problems, prior to releasing the Thunderbolt, to ensure that the launch of this powerful device is as smooth as possible. Once we know more about the release dates, we'll definately announce it through Facebook (HTC | Facebook) and Twitter HTC (htc) on Twitter), and of course HTC.com. Verizon also has a mailing list for news about the Thunderbolt; Verizon Wireless Thank you for taking the time to contact us, Matthew.

Hasn't Verizon already thrown around the term "world's first 4G LTE phone"?.....I could be imagining that but I thought they did.

If the Thunderbolt is made just for Verizon and they have the say so on the actual release date then where in the hell is Bestbuy pulling theses dates from and taking pre-orders while Verizon won't. Seriously....

It was strange.. It was showing off the front facing camera but strapping the phone to a helicopter and voice chatting and it was just weird.. haha it was the YOU commercials.

hahaha. well i guess the no coming soon means a thunderstorm is coming closer! this weekend theres suppost to be a thunderstorm in my city ;) lol

It doesnt make sense that Verizon would just be sitting on the phone. Sounds to me like Verizon keeps sending it back to HTC to get certain things fixed.
