HTC Aria 2.2 Official Update Posted

froze on me at 21, then again at 78, trying for the last time tonight. I thought the 1st update to the software was so the aria could get OTA updates.

Downloading NOW! I just updated my Galaxy S Captivate, Yesterday, to 2.2/froyo. I think I really do like 2.2 on the captivate. It was acting really buggy at first so I had to completely reset my phone to factory settings, but now it runs amazingly well!

Well at least this download is going with alright speed for me. I'm only getting 82 kb/s but at least its not 12 kb/s.

P.S. I thought it was pretty awesome how they added this TODAY because I hadnt ever looked for the update until today, It was the same story with my captivate as well. :-)

Yeah, cool 2.2 finally here, cool. But has anyone successfully installed Flash Player on their Aria?? Something built into the Aria blocks Flash Player Installation.

You did it again AT&T - GHETTO!!

The Aria's processor cannot run Flash 10.1, so we are still stuck with the HTC Flash 'Lite' program that we have had since the beginning.

So does sideloading apps free up space on the phone and keep it from slowing down?

My blackberry does memory drain and slows down even more when i add apps to it. Is this the case with Aria?

It depends on the app. Some apps now check to see if they are being installed on Froyo and will install to the SD card automatically. Other apps you manually have to move to the SD card once they are installed.

I'm gonna put 2.2 on when i get my aria. So as long as the apps i download are put on the SD card, the phone won't slow down?
