Change battery icon for 2.2

found this thread--[MOD]Fightspit's Super Circle Battery with % | version a-g | Evo Black Bar - xda-developers but it doesnt say that it supports the KB1 build.

any ideas?

I flashed Cognition 4.1 which is built on top of KB1, then used the ultimate online tool kitchen to get the super circle battery and change a couple of other things. Let me know if you're interested (I know some people are anti-rom flashing) and I can give you more detailed instructions.

It doesn't work for stock 2.2, but will work with roms built on top of 2.2 that have been de-odexed.

My battery status works since the Froyo rollout.

I would try it but all link broken, can't download any. I like the stock rom but just need the battery indicator for percentage. Stock battery doesn't show any thing
