does this mean they updated the thunderbolt to dual core?
if they did--that would address the many who said that it's being outdone by the Atrix, recently released w/ dual core--and it'd be a nice Plus to make up for the delay
of course, though--what's out there that really takes advantage of this processing power? cool to have, but never getting used to its fullest extent.

That tweet wasn't about the Tbolt...he is implying that there is a dual core phone with a large battery (possibly HTC) in the works. That is not the bolt.
I think maybe you don't know which tweet we are talking about.

and for the record, he didn't say what it was he would love, and NO he wasn't saying about another phone,
i'm starting to wish i didn't even post that tweet now that his twitter is set to private, only followers/believers of what he says should see the info
and i'm not trying to say they upgraded the phone to have dual core, its possible they upgraded the battery though, since you don't want to believe anything, why are you even here on this thread? its mostly rumors and speculation anyway

No, they didn't upgrade the Bolt to dual core. That isn't something you just do. The phones are already produced, whatever problem has been holding them back is strictly software related. Were it hardware, we would be looking at a release date in terms of months, not days or weeks.

This doesn't need to be an argument--just look at what he said. The other user said if the Bolt had a dual core and bigger battery, he would fight somebody for it.

The meaning here is, if you would fight somebody for a phone with those specs, then you will love...(a device that he has possibly been testing, that he isn't at liberty to discuss yet).
If you look at what the guy said back, he said, "nice. i'm guessing that would be a new device name? ie not incredible 2." So that tweet was not about the bolt, it was about a device that hasn't been announced yet.
My mistake on saying you didn't know what tweet we were talking about, since you were the one that posted it. I was just confused, because you are misunderstanding what the Panda was saying.

for what its worth i could have sworn i mentioned about the Incredible 2 not being called that, hmm, maybe i posted that on a different forum and didn't realize i had posted something on here instead, my bad then, but i don't appreciate the others that began calling me a liar
While i'm extremely excited for the ThunderBolt (not just for the LTE) i thought that tweet would have also been something juicy for the mindset
its possible the Incredible 2 or whatever they plan on calling it will be more powerful than the Incredible S, if i recall the Desire wasn't as powerful as the Incredible, and thats essentially the Desire for Verizon aka Nexus One as well
anywho, on another topic, CTIA is in March, and EVO was announced last year at this event.
but again, this wouldn't make sense for HTC to have an even more powerful device than the ThunderBolt on Verizon, unless of course it doesn't have 4G I guess so it won't take away from ThunderBolt sales
i'm agitated now, hopefully this week is the week so i can steer clear of the forums, people are getting rude/antsy and even more crazy than the Verizon fruit fans...

I think we will have this by Thursday. Preorders online tomorrow or Tuesday. Unless these phones have been hiding in the stores, no way we see them. Which makes me sad. So be it!!

I have to say, thats the only theory thats plausible if they expect to sell them tomorrow, usually when a device launches it has to be there before opening the store, of course that might not be the case either...
It would make sense that this is the case since FedEX wouldn't have anything delivered until around 10-11am at earliest
so if Verizon is sticking by there word for tomorrow's release
they have to have them already
then there's also the other theory of them being available for PRE-ORDER tomorrow and on sale Thursday
tomorrow is almost here, only 4 more hours until "fair time" (3am EST - Midnight West Coast)
