Just ordered my new N1!!!!

Yeah... "Standard Overnight - Indirect Signature Required"

For Indirect Signature, if you leave a SIGNED NOTE that the courier can take with him/her, they will leave you phone if not home. Sorry, if you have a release on file, that WILL NOT work for Indirect Delivery. If it's Direct or Adult Signature, YOU HAVE TO BE HOME. FedEx courier - 6 years.

I selected to sign up for new T-Mobile service, anyone else who did this have you received any emails from T-Mobile regarding your new service?

So...you're saying someone would just have to leave a signed note around the door?

This is based on a poster stating the phones are going out FedEx Standard Overnight with Indirect Signature Required.

If you are home, answer the door, and sign for your phone!

If you will not be home, and you want the phone left at your door, yes. Leave a signed note that the courier can take with them. The phone will be left where you ask them to.

If you are not home and don't leave a note, the courier will leave a door tag stating they attempted delivery of your shipment. You can go by you local FedEx station to pick it up that evening (depending on the station front counter hours and when the courier returns to the building). RTB time and station address should be on the door tag. You might call 1-800-463-3339 and give them the door tag # or your tracking # to confirm the package is at the station if you live a good distance from there.

Otherwise, it will be attempted 2 more times over the next 2 business days, then held at the station for 2 more business days, then it is returned to the shipper.

Good to know, just in case i have to leave the house.

I have a feeling that i'll be staring out the window all day until the phone comes though, so no worries.

Have you guys already gotten your Tmo sim card + signed up for the Even More PLus plan already? Or are you guys waiting until the phone comes tomorrow and go crash the T-mobile store tomorrow? lol.

Anyone know if there's an activation fee for EM+?

I just got back from T-mobile where I got myself all signed-up so I'm ready when the phone arrives tomorrow. There is an activation fee ($35 I believe) though mine was waived due to a corporate agreement my employer has with T-mobile.

Were you able to get a discount on your monthly plan from your employer for that? The guy at the store told me the EM+ plans are not eligible for the discounts.

Also, you guys paid before the service month, right? they charged me $69.99 + tax at the store for the next month. So EM+ is prepaid then?

I'm not sure about whether or not the EM+ is eligible for discounts. I just figured with the employer association that it'll just get tacked on automatically so I guess I won't know until I get my bill. That said, T-Mobile's website does indicate that the discount *MAY* not be available for EM+ ("Premiere and other business/association discounts may not be available.").

Regarding paying before the service, this I didn't have to do and in fact when I asked I was told that I will be billed (supposedly first bill may take up to 45 days to receive).

Just updated my FedEx tracking page and saw that it shipped from Indianapolis, IN... I assumed it would be coming from Mountain View

Really disappointed I don't have my tracking number yet, what's up with that?? CC been charged already.

Glad to hear people are picking up the phone as early adopters. Once the nexus one is jacked in to the sprint network (4G WIMAX Please), I'll be picking one up.

Did it list Google's account number or a reference number. Just wondering if we can reverse lookup our tracking information from the fedex page...

Waiting until they come out with a Verizon CDMA model. For me, better coverage/call quality > simultaneous voice and data. Hurry the Hell up with the LTE already, Verizon, so I don't have to be forced into choosing.

I am SO friggin glad I didn't plop $$$ down on a Droid when they released... I mean, Come ON, man -
"Check out my uber-cool Google Experience DROID... I got it last week - it's the Shnizzle!! "
"Nexus One".
"W... T..... F..... Nooooooo!!!"

Consolation prize will have to be that Android 2.1 update, I guess.
I just hope that by the time the Nexus One shows up on Verizon's storefront steps, Motorola will have a new Droid 2 out with improved specs and a keyboard that doesn't completely blow.
I've tried every "virtual keypad" phone out there - hate them all.

Not just a little annoying hate, mind you - oh, no... more like the kind of mind-numbing hate that shuts down 75% of your mental capacity to logically reason as you smash that motherf@%#ing piece of S*#t into f@%#ing tiny pieces of shattered plastic and Goo with a sledge hammer like an angry chimp hopped up on Crack, Over and over and F@%#ing over again...
God.

Ok, I'm done here.
Seriously, New Droid or a Nexus with a decent keyboard. That is all.
:p

My order was just the opposite I couldn't get past the "Oop's" message with Firefox but was able to complete my order using Chrome.

It seems that the only people with shipping confirmations ordered before 12 noon PST..... Unfortunately that doesn't include me.

Damn I think a lot of people will be sick tomorrow and working from home LOL. I worked 2 days from home when I was waiting for mine then after missing the delivery while walking my dog I drove to fedex, tracked down the area and number of the truck that had it, and spent an hour trying to track down the truck while driving around frantically like a crack head for a dealer.
