Root link to leedroid rom

the leedroid link just gives a"
Error (509)

This account's public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!
":confused: are there any other links i can use ? without me having to scroll through a ton of forum pages
 
Have you used the links on the LeeDroid mini site rather than the Dropbox ones :

Just tested the A2SD version on the above page and it works. I know they've been having Dropbox problems for a while due to the amount of traffic
 
damn, i still cant remove facebook n twitter an all that rubish even with leedroind
i just wana keep it a stock sence rom, with the rubish removed:(
 
You just open the Rom.zip using Winrar on a pc (NOT extract) and go to system/app and delete them. Then flash the Rom.

Astro file manager on android can do this from sd card too, but it takes linger

What have you been doing?
 
ahh , didnt know astro could do that , ok might give it another go , thanks for that ,
i did try the uninstall on titanium , but that didnt work either , just went tits at the reboot stage when trying to rid the faceache stuff :D
why do they put all that garbage on the bloody rom , if we wanted all that rubish we could get it from the market , or did they get paid for it .
 
Easiest thing is to delete the files in the zip and then flash again. The work of a few minutes and no new skills to learn :)

There's a new LeeDroid version out any day now so you will NEED to flash it again anyway

ah yes i think i understand now , so just look in the zip file for anything related to fb , twiter and all that and delete em ,
lets hope i dont delete anything important :eek:

takes me a while to understand , but i get there in the end , and reading through faq and all that never seems to work for me ,

Lee said 'three days after tomorrow' on Friday. My my reckoning that comes to today. He's usually pretty good on timescales.

PS On the LeeDroid mini site, under FAQs I think, theres a page on what files can be deleted safely. Have a look before you go hacking it to pieces :D
 
I would suggest when removing files in the Rom zip before flashing...check and RE check that you have removed the right files...and if it helps just make 2 copies of the zip file once its downloaded and store the backup one somewhere else while you pull apart the other..just incase you delete something you shouldnt...

I did the exact same thing, took out the 3D gallery, stocks launcher, friendstream, twitter, launcher and a ton of other crap I didnt need and even though I dont use sense as my default launcher (I use launcher pro plus) I find it runs alot better without crap popping up in the background..

and lee's putting what 2.3e out? bloody hell...I cant keep up lol
 
version e......thought it was coming out based on a comment from Lee on xda but he's been silent since. To be honest I thought there wasn't much more to do until Gingerbread Sense came along. He's not one for adding loads of extra functionality to the rom.

Oh well.. back to mucking around with themes :D

thats what I thought that he cant do too much more to an already great standard Rom...
