Bold post at Droidforums by the mod and running out of runway to be true. Also, they are now rationalizing why no announcement yet is VZW uses west coast timing.... VZW corporate offices are in the east.

As far as the display, don't they have "Coming soon"? Stores that got similar TB stuff a few weeks ago have not displayed them for obvious reasons.
