I need a free or cheap app that will monitor my phone when i am not around it. If anyone knows of an app please let me know. Something with a cam and will not show up when he looks at phone. Not looking for love or boyfriend advice just an app to help me out. thanks! : )

wonders why im locking it thinks im up to something. Im not he said he would stop looking in it but hasnt and id like to catch him.

I can't help you with an app, but can offer some advice. If he trusts you that little, now would be a good time to evaluate your relationship. Without trust on both parts, it's a shaky foundation that will only get shakier with time. Your best bet is to ask him why he feels he can't trust you eventhough you've given him no reason. You may be surprised to find he's insecure or worst case, is starting a pattern of being controlling. If my hubby went through my phone and said he didn't trust me, his car would become his new home.

Not trying to be a brat buuuut.... as i said.. Not looking for love or boyfriend advice just an app to help me out. thanks! : )

Leave a particular app running when you turn it off.
If you turn it on and the screen isn't where you left it then you'll know he was in it.

Lock the phone, if he ever asks you why it's locked then he's up to something, unless you let him use the phone. Otherwise, confront him when he asks why it's locked, maybe he'll have a guilt trip.

You have trust issues in your relationship. There are no apps to fix that.

+1,

Definitely agree with this. That being said there are applications like

A. Tasker - which I'm sure you could use to monitor what applications are being opened

or

B. Prey Anti-Theft - where you can setup your phone, set it as missing online, and monitor the usage that way.

Ps. I've dealt with girls who act this way and in the end you're not going to change how they act or perceive things. Turns out people usually get suspicious when they're doing what they think you're doing. If you know what I mean. You sound young and smart, don't waste your life on immature boys.

This could help you catch him with it in his hand.

Not exactly what you were looking for, but the best I could find.

Great description! If it works as advertised I certainly have a couple uses for it!
:D
I hope the developer will also include, in a near future update, camera, sound, and email functionalities: let it record both a couple minutes of date/time stamped audio and video (or sequenced stills), list the URLs visited, and apps opened, and send it all in the background to your email address(es) or dropbox(es). Hard evidence! And THEN have it play the James Bond theme...
:D

At the OP, here's a thought: you could install free MyLookout. Ideal to track where your phone is when it's lost, and... wait for it... to remotely make it scream!
So when you know he's fiddling with it, but not necessarily in the next room, but even on the other side of town, you can make it scream to scare the living daylights out of him!
:D

Be sure to have your friend stand by to video his reactions! Great for Youtube!

Lol I love how you're plotting against her BF :P

I am working on a tasker profile that records the applications that are opened and writes them in a log file. But for now, this should suffice:

create a profile with the context "display unlocked" and have it set a variable to the time (set it to append so it will record all times the dispaly is unlocked). Then create a shortcut on your homescreen to a new task that pops up a dialog containing the variable you set, and then have it clear that variable.

That way, while the profile is activated it will record all times the phone is used and then it will tell them to you.

Yup this is exactly what I was thinking of as well!

guys please reread the OP post.... she stated, in two posts actually, that she is NOT looking for relationship advice. just an app.

I use MyLookout. It's excellent. Oddly enough, I use it so that my wife CAN see exactly where I am, so she knows when I'm going to be home from work. :)

But here's the thing. Boyfriend doesn't trust her for whatever reason. She installs an app that lets him know that she knows when he's snooping. So she is basically telling him that she doesn't trust him either. That relationship is not headed for good times and smooth sailing. Much better off cutting your losses now than spend the next six months to a year figuring out how to snoop on each other.

Maybe she thrives on dysfunctional relationships based on mutual distrust, paranoia and deceit.
