Exercise and the Droid

I'm sure many of you are sedentary nerds like me and need to get out and get moving...

I'm using Run.gps Trainer Lite to track my exercise (and map it) with my Droid. It is a cool app! BUT - now I'd like a way wear the droid so I can refer to it during my walk or run or whatever. Has anyone seen an exercise oriented case or strap or something? I'd like it maybe on my upper arm so I can just peek at it, etc?

Any thoughts?

Matt

An armband connector would be ideal... but I haven't seen one specifically made for the droid yet. I usually just make sure that the pants or whatever I am wearing have a zipper pocket so I know it will stay in there.

I'm fairly sure the iPhone arm band will fit the Droid.

I've just recently started running and have found one that works well. The screen is fully visible. I use CardioTrainer, and find it easy to read as I run (pretty good sized font) through the case window. The Droid is very snug. Here's the link to where I talk about the case:

The only thing is that it isn't water proof...so when it warms up and when I start to run outside I'll have to figure something out (maybe the Otterbox option mentioned by others).

Doing the Couch-to-5K, by the way, and would highly recommend it for those getting into running (Google it) :-)

Cardio Trainer is one of my favorite apps. It comes with voice guidance which is great ("0.6 miles in 5 minutes"). And it's free!

They do offer a $2 upgrade where you can race against yourself which is kind of cool ("You are 20 yards ahead").

It also syncs with their nice website so you can check out your track history there or on the device.

I used to use runkeeper pro on the iphone that did much less for $10.
