Thunderbolt Launch Day Speculation/Rumor Thread

That so reminds me of this movie quote. "I swear to god I'll pistolwhip the next person that says shenanigans. Hey farva, what's the name of the restaurant that you like with all that goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks? You mean shenanigans? Oooooooo."

Did you sign up on the Verizon website for updates on the bolt? On the site you just give them your e-mail address, but if they cross referenced that and found out you are a current Verizon customer they may have been extra nice and gave you a call. ;)

Funny thing I noticed today...

If you browse phones they often pop up a window to try and "Help you" with your choice. So basically you do a text chat

Now I want others to try this and make sure I am not nucking futs but go to the VZW site without signing in and browse smart phones and say click on an incredible. The Chat window never seems to come.

Now go there do the same thing but this time browse an Iphone and then report back here and tell me how fast the chat window pops up?

Wow, IMO you were speaking to the CS Rep like a douche. It's not the Reps fault that the phone isn't out yet. Take it easy, they have a hard enough job.

You should start a chat and say, "I'm just bored while waiting for you guys to announce the TB release"

Called that number and was told that it is an HTC Problem and they have held it up and Verizon is anxiously waiting for HTC to get the phone out. :(

That was Jennifer doing the BS storm for VZW.

Sorry Willdogs I don't come off as well in Text chats as I do in face to face but I do admit to being upset when she said that Best Buy had them and were sold out.
 
It never ceases to amaze me how fast companies pass the buck and throw each other under the bus to cover their own asses. Where I work, our CS dept., this is something that they teach them not to do. Sure stuff gets damaged in shipping, or doesn't ship at all. But the customer is calling us and it is still our problem, throwing our partners under the bus doesn't make us look good, it makes us look even worse.

Perhaps VZ, BB, and HTC need to get on the same page with a official canned response...something they should've worked out a month or so ago.

Sorry kid, actually, I own a large business and I have several CS Reps that answer phones all day and know what they go through.

People need to realize that not all CS reps are into these phones the way you are, and that they don't know every detail.

I was referring to the way acted on the chat and was pretty much supporting your feeling of the way he was acting. Not sure how that got lost in translation.

Gotta love people trolling Verizon workers. They have better things to do with their time than to appease clowns. No reason for this when we usually get news on things before they do.
