Sorry I'm creating another thread since my original was filled with spammers.

I download nooter for 1.0.1 firmware installed it with no issues. I went to the marker, tried to download words with friends and it just sits in que.

I unrooted and rooted again with the same issue.

Any ideas on what to do? thanks

i would have upgraded to firmware 1.1 then used autonooter 3.0, but anyway.

have you powered it off and then back on? I had all sorts of weird stuff not working until I rebooted.

This worked for me before...

Sometimes it seems your gmail is linked to ur market account but its really not. Best way to find out is to open up the google talk app and make sure you are logged in. If not, it should automatically sign you in, after that go back to the market and try downloading again.

Make sure you have logged into Youtube App, then go into Gmail and "Refresh" your email. Once it loads your email, you should be all set to go.

I only mentioned Youtube because others have said it's necessary. But I know from experience that until Gmail has truly connected, the Market will stall.

I'm having the same issue (hanging at starting download). I see the market fine, can search, etc. I tried launching Google Talk, but it fails to sign in, giving an error of "could not connect to server. Will retry shortly". All other apps work fine, with the exception of You Tube, which crashes every time I try to launch it. The only other problem I've noted is that when I try to edit the account settings on GMail, it crashes my Nook. Not sure what the tie in is for these apps, but they've all come up in researching this issue.

BTW, I'm rooted on the stock ROM.

Dont try to edit the gmail account settings. Just open gmail, click the menu icon, and press"refresh". I had the same problem and that fixed it for me. Hopefully it will for you too. If not, let us know and we can try to help you troubleshoot.
