Ok, so I have this crazy idea that I want to run by you guys and try to get feedback. I have an Verizon Omnia i910 running windows mobile 6.1. well that pos finally died on me today. I have been, and still am, extremely excited for the thunderbolt to come out but unfortunately, it still isn't here. So I thought about a solution; why not purchase the verizon iphone 4 and then when the thunderbolt comes out, sell the iphone and pick up the thunderbolt. I have figured that I would need to get the 32gb iPhone ($300 on contract) in order to sell it for 1000, to cover the price of the iphone and the price of the thunderbolt (750 w/o contract). I am just curious to see if you guys believe this is feasible. If not, what do?

P.S. I picked the iPhone because it has the highest resale value and macfans are dumb enough to purchase a used overprice product for a grand.
 
I dont think you would ever get that for the iphone either. when they were new it was a different story. why not just get the iphone from best buy and return it with in thirty days. If the thunderbolt doesn't come out in a month then I really dont think that phone is ever coming out, lol.
 
Alright, thanks guys, I was looking at the going rate on ebay and the general price was between 600 and 900 for used iphone 4s so a grand would be high. I appreciate your input. Many thanks!
 
$1000 bucks....no way man! A CDMA iPhone will not fetch nearly as much as its GSM cousin!
