Just got back from my local VZW store and they either screwed up or the accessories are released for sale. I had to press the issue to get somebody to check but the salesman sold me the Car Dock.

Nice, thank you for the back pic. I can use my droid Incredible attachment to connect it to my Garmin bean gag. Time to put the squeeze on my Verizon store tomorrow. :D Anyone want to buy a seidio surface case and holster? Guess I wont need it now. :(
 
Best Buy and another local verizon reseller shop both had TBolt cases and accessories..... but no phone today. BB also had their flyer with the TBolt ad front and center.... as I was talking to the cell phone guys working there we all got a nice laugh from the irony of the situation. They all were also skeptical if it would actually get release next week or even this month BTW. I'm still thinking it will, but at this rate who knows.

LOL..yea that dude from HTC's account got taken right down about a half hour after that Tweet surfaced on Engadget and BGR...

Seriously now, if it doesn't come this week both companies are going to get Hit so hard all over the internet! You have to believe they want this thing out before CTIA. Because of the internet and tech sites, so many people are hip to what's coming out and what's in the pipeline. The smart consumer will wait for the next best thing after this whole 4G fiasco is straightened out. The crazy tech junkies like most of us will have to have this and the next best thing, nature of the beast! Gotta luv technology...

Yeah especially since it's up for an award at CTIA... Really want this car dock though.. Good thing there is a Corp VZW store right beside my BB
 
I hope Verizon didn't lock this dock down to launching only their V-Nav app. This dock has a big old VZW logo right in the front. If they did, i'll be downloading the app for changing events such as headphone jack and dock setting. I might even have to root to get rid of it if that the case.
 
I plan on running it stock as long as I can, although HTC usually gets ALOT of love from the developers. I'm just getting fed up with random reboots, freezes and lock ups. Maybe its just the DX

Running a custom rom (Desire Z) on my Incredible and I don't have any of those problems . Aslo was nice to get rid of all that vzw bloatware and useless apps.

Gonna agree with Tech on this one, if it is anything like the one for the OG Droid it will "snap" onto the phone. There isn't room for any kind of case.

Damn shame if it comes out on the 17th and accounts that were correct are deleted. If anything, all the user accounts for ALL social networking sites (including this one) need to be deleted for giving out WRONG dates.... COUGHpanda,jayishere,ben,jerry,etc,etcCOUGH
