I guess on the brighter side, the longer this pushes out the more options we might have. Hopefully the Samsung Stealth, Moto Bionic and the Revolution will be available soon. I wouldn't mind being able to legitimately compare the four based on true specs, not the rumored specs.

Just called my VZW corporate store and was told certainly Thursday. I asked how sure she was and she told me they found out about an hour ago and had to ask if it was ago to release the info. Got an appointment to pick mine up Thursday afternoon. And she said she would set it to the side and hold it even if they ran out
 
FWIW my corporate rep told me this morning that it will be this Thursday. :cool: Of course, I posted here last week stating I was told it would be the 10th by the same corporate rep. At this point I will not believe it until I see the shipping confirmation land in my email on Wednesday.

was that the Easley store?? i am about to call the Central store and see what they say, although they are not corporate.

No I called the congaree road store. It's closer to where I work so I can stop by when I get off. I was under the impression the congaree road location was corporate. If not, my mistake.

Central store just told me "Thursday for sure, we're only getting 8 and we can't hold them. You may want to get here early, we open at 9." :D

he also told me to keep that a secret, but you guys know i am not going to hold out on you.
 
Six corporate stores in two cities and not information at all. Either corp stores are in the dark, or these other stores are feeding off the same "sources".

I did get a BB to say the 17th or the 21st, but they 'heard" it and had no point of sale data to back it up (he was nice enough to point this out).

Not seeing how a store system that gets the same info has some stores that show activity and others that do not. Is this the non-corp store?
 
I talked to an Authorized Retailer (non-corporate store) and was told mid April :confused: I have a sneaking suspicion that the guy had no clue.
 
Well looks like im getting up bright and early thursday to go wait at the store to get my thunderbolt. Good thing there is steak and shake next door if i get hungry ,or i can go to t mobile next door and by a mythouch 4g and throw it thru verizons window if it aint there.
 
Just called my local Corporate VZW store on Charlotte Pike in Nashville, Tennessee (LTE Area) and they confirmed Thursday's release. They also said they have none in stock and could get a drop shipment as late as the night before or morning of. She didn't know how many units would be on hand.

Here we go!
 
dbgool: Wild you got that info and I got this (what is correct??? who knows).

Just spoke with a very nice VZW corp store manager (the one store I missed at lunch).

1. No information at all. If the device was releasing on the 17th, he says they would know.

2. HTC rep was at his Lexington store last week and stated the main reason was Skype and it is taking this time to update the firmware for the change (we have already heard that).

3. He pointed out the 4G theory for a delay is not possible, since a lot of markets will not even be active with 4G until late summer. TB is NOT sitting that long.

Not long to find out what is correct (at least for the actusal device shipping).

Pretty disappointed. Just called my local best buy where I have pre-orders number one and two. They told me that the thunderbolt won't be in stores until end of the month at the earliest.
