Pre ordering at Best Buy guarantees it to be there on Thursday, right? They have to hold it even if I cant get there until after work??

They'll hold it for anywhere between 2 days and 8 days (two different policies, don't know which one this one qualifies for) I know for the ipad2 preorders we're doing, we'll hold them for just 48 hours

Jay - on big launches like this is the phone usually available first thing in the AM? Or is it later in the afternoon?

Depends on when they come in. If we get them on our trucks tomorrow, first thing in the morning...if not...midafternoon/early evening

For those that preordered, are we still eligible for the free Buy Back Program?

I just called my BB, of course she had no clue it was released. When I asked about enough units to cover all the pre-orders, she said she wasnt sure.

Confidence inspiring.

:D :D :D Happy dance!!! :D :D :D

Though I've enjoyed the past week with my Droid X....I'll be exchanging this Thursday - even falls within the 14 day window!

This may have been asked and answered already, so forgive me if I missed it. I bought my Droid X at a different BB than I pre-ordered from. Do you think I'll have any problem returning the Droid X at the pre-order store when I go to pick up my TB?

@jayenomics We'll need to confirm a few details. We'll release more info when we have everything locked in.

and by Email I meant tweet. This was their response.

Any word on BB's full retail price? Wirefly has it for $669 with no tax, if BB still is selling it for $699 or $749 I may have to switch.

*Edit* I just saw the other thread - never mind

so im seeing at BB locations it will only be $249.00 for a couple of days then jump to $299.00
does anyone know if the price will jump at verizon stores too? or is it just BB doing this?

I know we at Cellular Sales will be sticking with the 249.99 price

ok thats good to know. I dont get my upgrade until late next month so i'd be pissed if I missed out on the $50 discount on the first couple days.
Now I wonder why anyone would want to buy one from BB after they raised the price.... what incentive would there be to pay more at BB then youd pay at a verizon store?

They use BB because of the buy back program. You can sell it on ebay and do just as good.

well the average customer is going to say... hmmmm I can get the phone at verizon for 249 or at BB for 299 yeah im gonna go to verizon!

anyway, now I just have to HOPE and PRAY that verizon keeps the unlimited 4g for $30 atleast until May so I can slip in under the unlimited price on contract before they raise it
