Help Only 1 text tone for everyone? Noooooooo. Help!!!

I have LG Optimus V, not that it matters, my friend has an android with Verizon and she has the same issue.
You can set certain ringtones for certain contacts. I want to set certain text tones for certain callers.
I want to know when my boyfriend is texting me, not think its just one of my friends or WHOEVER!!!!
I figured out how to make my facebook, myspace, gmail and whatever else have their own special tone but cannot seem to give contacts their own special text tone.
Is there an app that will do this?
Is there a genius on this site that can tell me how?
HELP!!!!
 
Handcent will do this. I believe that ChompSMS will as well, but I don't use it. Both are free in the market
 
As far as I know the contacts have to be saved to your sim card or phone before you can assign custom ring tones. All of mine are on Google so I can't. But this may or may not apply with text tones.

I use an App called Ringo Lite

Ringo Lite - Ringtones Manager - Android

You can assign a ringtone to each and every contact, and assign a text notification to an each and every contact. Simple to use.
 
You can set individual ringtones for each contact by bringing up the contact, click menu, choose options...can also set to have the contact's call go directly to voice mail but why would anyone use that, though?
