Root I need help with the software information on my htc evo 4g

So I rooted my girlfriends evo using unrevoked, and put on the cyanogenmod 6.1.2 ROM. Being the fist time I did this I didn't take the proper precautions. I put on the new rom without backing up the old one, dumb right? Well I found this link and used it to go back to factory settings :
http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/92378-rooted-evo-want-go-back-stock-rom-how.html

Now the software on her phone seems to be way out of date.

Firmware version: 2.1 update 1
Baseband version: 1.39.00.05.31
Kernel version: 2.6.29-a2443432 htc-kernel@and18-2#1
Build Number: 1.32.651.6 CL 171253 release-keys
Software number: 1.32.651.6
Browser version: webkit 3.1
PRI version: 1.77_003
PRL Version: 60677

Do these settings seem out of date? If so, what can I do to update them?

Welcome to the forums! Those are very out of date. OTA released firmware is android 2.2 and software is 3.70. Do you still have s-off and what is your hboot version? (power the phone off then hold volume down + power til the hboot screen comes up) Do you want to be rooted? Do you want to flash a custom rom or a stock rom to get you current?

If you're looking to get back to a stock rooted ROM, go here:

HTC Supersonic/ROMs - XDA-DevelopersCheck out OTA Update #7

Or you can flash Sprint Lover's which includes all the newest radio's, nv, and pri, so you don't have to flash them separately. Here are the instructions to flash via hboot:

-Copy the PC36IMG.zip to the root of your SD Card
-Power off your phone
-While holding the VOLUME DOWN button, power on your phone into bootloader
-The phone will scan for a PC36IMG.zip
-Once prompted, install the update and reboot

I want to go back to stock so I can back up the stock Rom. I have ran a few updates and am almostup to date. After updatin to froyo it says the market is no longer installed. What's up with that?

Just curious but are you planning on flashing a custom rom again? If so, it is not a necessity to backup the stock rom. It is suggested as a beginning so that if something happens, you have a good backup to go back to. If you are flashing a custom rom, you can make a backup of that one and proceed from there. Just make sure you get at least one backup with you Wimax keys. Clockwork recovery 2.6.0.1 does it and so does Amon RA 2.3(not by default though)
