Root 2.3

Is there anyone out there with a Samsung Galaxy S SCH-I500 with Gingerbread on it? I just updated mine to Froyo(Finally) But I would really like Gingerbread. I updated with ODIN. I can't seem to find a Gingerbread version of this. Any Ideas?

Also when I updated it unrooted it. First I rooted with Z4Root and it worked fine. So I tried again, but when I tried again it said that I need to turn USB Debugging on.. So I went to settings only to find that USB Debugging was grayed out and I couldn't turn it on? Please help :)

I am pretty sure the exploit that Z4Root used was patched in Android 2.2. Z4Root would, therefore, be useless after updating.

As someone said above, SuperOneClick should technically work. Another one that could work is GingerBreak.
