What features do you want on the Evo 2?

Personally don't get the kickstand obsession... I have used my Evo kickstand maybe once. Are people just looking for things to moan about?

Really? I use it everyday. I sit at a desk at work and i sit at a table when i eat...the kickstand is great at work and at lunch...you need to get the full potential out of your evo :)

I have sold people on this phone by kickstand alone lol

Just had a revelation about the kickstand. Looking at the pics of the battery cover on the EVO 3D, it looks like the seems go all the way to the side of the phone, making the battery cover more seamless.

What if, the "accessory" kickstand is a replacement battery cover that has a "seamless" kickstand? That might go in line with what BlueScreen had mentioned regarding the kickstand, right?

YEah the lack of Netflix and DRM talk that went on and also the front camera and kickstand inaccuracies from BSOD earlier I'd like to hear back from him when he gets free on those.

I know everyone is gonna say he deff works for HTC and I dont doubt it but unless someone has physically met the guy and can vouch for him then there will always be questions. I understand revisions are made but not ones to this magnitude from the time he spoke about it to the showing here.
I will recant it all if his response includes that the netflix drm stuff is stuff just added and not prepared for the show however as that would be believable.

Nope. Not a single day that I don't use the kickstand. At work, I don't have a dock, so I prop the kickstand up while it's charging and place the phone on desk clock mode.

While out eating with friends or family, if someone mentions a great youtube video that they've seen, I pull up the video (using the internet because it's more reliable than the youtube app) and prop the phone up on the kickstand.

At home, I use it in a similar manner as I do at work, but if I need to show a video, I use the HTC hdmi dock.

It's a personal thing I guess. I don't use it at all. My only reason for using it would be to watch video content while doing other things. Unfortunately, with Evo not having the best battery life, watching content is the fastest way to kill the battery while I'm on the road. So it's a feature I use sparringly. Besides, I have other devices (lap top) that fill in that purpose.

Just to prop up the phone for non-video watching purposes is something I guess I just don't get.

Full DRM, covering multiple types, compatible with Netflix, is built into processor, no question.

HTC has an agreement with Blockbuster, it's Netflix that's the hold-up, not HTC.

agreed!
I use mine every single day. My phone is my clock at night and the kick stand helps that. Doesn't make sense at all b/c now the only way to watch movies on it is to hold the phone in your hands.
being more "pocketable" makes ZERO sense as a reasoning for taking the kickstand out.

Ok. Let's play devil's advocate and look back at the info BSOD provided..What actual information did he provided (that was not already leaked) vs information that was incorrect. Call it a game. I think the clear miosses were the netflix announcement and the kickstand.

Of course it would be easier if he came on to explain (but that would be too easy)

Selling a replacement back as an accessory makes more sense than pocketable.

Lower entry cost, less flames from detractors, more aftermarket Benjamins.

Not surprising.
